Apparel Collection

This collection was created to showcase a unique fusion of traditional and digital mediums, pushing the boundaries of both old and new skills while deepening my love and admiration for the fashion industry.

This project served as my thesis during my time at MIAD in Spring 2022. It explores the step-by-step process of planning, researching, drafting, painting, editing, sewing, and displaying an entire apparel collection. While I’ve always been comfortable with prints, patterns, and 2D mediums, I wanted to challenge myself beyond that for my thesis. This led me to dive into apparel design, where I not only crafted the garments but also hand-drafted and painted custom patterns onto fabric. The most rewarding part of this four-month journey was realizing my desire to explore creative endeavors beyond the canvas and screen.
