Apparel Collection

This collection was created to showcase a wonderful combination of traditional and digital mediums, pushing boundaries in old and new skills and and deepening my love and admiration of the fashion industry.

This is my thesis when I was in MIAD Spring 2022 and in this project, I explore the step by step process of planning, researching, drafting, painting, editing, sewing and displaying an entire apparel collection. I've always been familiar with prints and patterns and the 2D mediums but for my thesis and I wanted to expand from that and pushed myself to go into the design aspect of apparel. This lead to my determination to not only make the apparel but hand draft it and print hand painted patterns on fabric. The best aspect of this 4 month project was the discovery that I want explore other creative endeavors outside of a canvas and screen.
